Russian officials say four people have been killed in a car bomb attack in Daghestan.
Russian news agencies quoted an unnamed spokesman for Daghestan's Interior Ministry as saying police were inspecting an empty car parked outside the village of Khadzhalmakhi on September 28 when it exploded, killing a police officer and three civilians passing in another car.
Four other police officers were injured.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
