Paris Police Surround Supermarket As Hostage Crisis Unfolds

French police surrounded a kosher supermarket in eastern Paris after two armed people took a number of hostages there on January 9. At least one person was reported to have been wounded in a shootout at the grocery. Authorities said the two suspects are also wanted in the killing of a policewoman in southern Paris on January 8.
