Landslide Kills At Least 4 In Western Georgia

More than 200 rescue workers continue to search for five missing people in the village of Negreti.

Georgian authorities said on February 7 that a massive landslide had killed at least four people overnight in the country's west. According to the Interior Ministry, more than 200 rescue workers continue to search for five missing people in the village of Negreti, where four houses were buried under mud and debris. A day earlier, another landslide killed two persons in the southwestern Adjara region. President Salome Zurabishvili expressed condolences to the families of those killed.
