Georgia's Finance Ministry on August 2 said the exporting and reexporting of U.S. cars to Russia and Belarus was banned as of August 1. The same decision regarding cars exported from the European Union took effect on July 26. The ministry said the decision was made as part of the 11th package of sanctions against Russia linked to its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
