Germany Acted 'Too Slowly' In Helping Ukraine, Foreign Minister Admits, But Is Making Amends

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said her country's military "did the worst you can ever imagine" with keeping up-to-date, leaving Berlin in a poor position to supply modern arms to Ukraine. Speaking to RFE/RL's Ray Furlong in Prague on July 26, she said criticism that Germany had been slow to provide military support went to her heart, and "this is why we try to get better."
