Hundreds of thousands of Greeks protested outside the parliament in Athens on February 4 against the government's willingness to make concessions in a long-standing name dispute with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The hard-liners stress that Macedonia also is the name of Greece's northern region and believe that the use of the name by a neighboring country would undermine Greek historical rights. (Reuters, AP)
