EU Official Says Hungary Must Show 'Necessary Reforms' To Release EU Funding

European Commission Vice President Vera Jourova has told RFE/RL that Hungary must reform its judiciary and protect fundamental rights to unblock EU funding earmarked for the country. Speaking to RFE/RL at its headquarters in Prague on October 13, Jourova said Brussels must insist that the government in Budapest does "everything they promised."
