IMF Chief Urges More Reforms Needed

International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde

The chief of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, says more economic reforms are needed.

Lagarde warned against being lulled into a "false sense of security" after the latest Greek debt deal had improved the outlook for the global economy.

Speaking in Beijing, Lagarde said developed countries need to strengthen their financial systems and cope with high debt.

She said developing countries need to reduce their vulnerability to outside shocks.
