The opposition Pakistan Tehrik-e Insaf (PTI) party has embraced technology to try to boost its chances in parliamentary elections in Pakistan on February 8. Party leaders trying to avoid arrest have used WhatsApp to address rallies, while artificial intelligence (AI) has been used to lend party founder Imran Khan's voice to notes passed from his jail cell.
