Iran has unveiled new vessels for its navy.
Naval officials were on hand on November 28 as the Sina-7 warship was launched at Bandar Abbas, a naval base near the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
The Sina-7 is equipped with antiship missiles and is made in Iran.
Also unveiled were two Ghadir submarines, which can fire missiles and torpedoes at the same time.
Iranian state TV quoted Navy chief Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari as saying that Iran must possess the "newest technology and top-grade facilities to protect its borders."
