Iran has hanged a man sentenced to death for spying for Israel's intelligence services, the official IRNA news agency quoted a judiciary statement as saying.
"Ali Akbar Siadat, who spied for Israel's Mossad, was hanged inside the Evin prison this morning," IRNA said.
IRNA said Siadat, an Iranian, had been in contact with Mossad since 2004 and was arrested in 2008 when wanted to leave Iran with his wife.
"Siadat confessed that he had transferred information to Mossad about Iran's military activities," IRNA said.
The IRNA report added that he had received $60,000 dollars to give classified information to Israeli intelligence, involving information about Iranian military bases and also missiles belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
On December 26, Tehran Prosecutor-General Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said a person spying for Israel had been sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.
Under Iran's Islamic Shari'a law, espionage can be punishable by execution.
In 2008, Iran hanged another Iranian convicted of spying for Israel.
IRNA also reported that another man, Ali Saremi, was hanged for collaboration with the Mujahedin Khalq Organization, an exiled militant opposition group.
