Lawyer and rights activist Hassan Asadi Zeidabadi has been arrested amid Iran's state crackdown on protests triggered by the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, RFE/RL's Radio Farda reports. Zeidabadi’s wife, Atefeh Khalafi, said on social media that her husband was arrested on November 16 by the intelligence branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. Several thousand have been arrested in past weeks, including many protesters, as well as journalists, lawyers, activists, digital rights defenders, artists and others.
