Iraq Attacks Kill At Least 30

At least 30 people were killed in attacks across Iraq on November 7.

In the bloodiest, at least 19 soldiers were killed and some 40 wounded when a double suicide car bombing targeted their military base in the town of Tarmiyah.

Earlier, police said a bombing at a tent serving food to pilgrims on their way to Karbala, killed four people and wounded six.

Before that, officials said a suicide bomber killed three soldiers and wounding six in the town of Ana, some 330 kilometers northwest of Baghdad.

Police said another bomb blast killed two persons in a town just south of Baghdad.

In the northern city of Mosul, police said a bomb struck an outdoor market, killing two people and wounding eight.

More than 5,500 Iraqis have been killed in attacks so far this year, nearly 1,000 in October alone.
