At Least 12 Killed By Car Bombs In Iraq

At least 12 people have been killed by car bombs in Iraq.

Two car bombs exploded minutes apart in Dujail, some 80 kilometers north of Baghdad, killing at least seven people.

At least five other people were killed by a car bomb in Hillah, south of Baghdad.

Medical officials said more than 60 people were wounded in those attacks.

Some of the bombings appeared to target Shi'ite pilgrims on their way to shrines in Iraq.

Another bomb hit a bus near the Shi'ite holy city of Karbala.

The attacks come after at least 23 people were kiled in a series of bomings in Iraq on January 16.
