In Iraq’s Salahuddin Province, government security forces and their allies have entered the town of Duluiya, to the north of Baghdad. The town had been under the control of Islamic State militants for several months. Iraq’s 5th Mechanized Division recaptured it with the aid of Shiite militia from southern Iraq and U.S. air support. A U.S.-led coalition has been carrying out air strikes against the militants since August. (RFE/RL's Radio Free Iraq)
