Woman Detained For Allegedly Setting Fire To Enlistment Office In Russia's Kaliningrad

A woman was detained in Russia's western Kaliningrad exclave on suspicion of attempting to set an enlistment center on fire, regional authorities reported. The incident occurred on November 19, the spokesman for the regional government, Dmitry Lyskov said, without revealing the woman's identity. Telegram channel Incident-Sovetsk published a video purportedly showing a woman throwing a Molotov cocktail into a building, filming the fire on her phone, then running away. The channel said the woman worked as a cook at a local kindergarten. Arson attacks on military enlistment offices have become frequent since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
