Authorities in Kazakhstan say one of the two suspects wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a Kazakh journalist in Kyiv has turned himself in. The Kazakh Prosecutor-General's Office said Altai Zhaqanbaev was arrested in Kazakhstan after being put on an international wanted list for the shooting of Kazakh journalist and opposition activist Aidos Sadyqov in Kyiv on June 18. The arrest came a day after Ukrainian authorities released CCTV camera footage of Zhaqanbaev and a second suspect, Meiram Qarataev, who they said traveled to Ukraine via Poland.
