Dozens of Kazakh women gathered at the headquarters of their country's ruling Nur-Otan party in the capital, Nur-Sultan, to demand an increase in social and financial support for families. The February 22 protest came three days after a family lost five children in a fire in a five-story residential building in the town of Zhanatas.
