Security Tight As Israeli Soccer Team Plays In Kosovo

There were tight security measures in place as Kosovo defeated Israel 1-0 in Pristina on November 12. The soccer match in the predominantly Muslim country was scheduled to take place on October 15, but postponed as Israel launched military assaults on Gaza after an attack by Hamas fighters on October 7 killed 1,200 people. Hamas is designated a terrorist organization by the United States and the European Union.
