It is 25 years since the NATO-led KFOR force arrived in Kosovo to keep the peace between ethnic Albanians and Serbs, and Fatmir Kelmendi still has vivid memories of welcoming French soldiers to the town of Mitrovica. They arrived just three days after an agreement ending the 1998-99 Kosovo War, in which more than 13,000 people were killed.
