Kunduz Residents Protest Deadly Air Strike In Afghanistan

Afghans in the northern city of Kunduz displayed bodies of people they said were killed by an air strike. Many were children. Local officials said the attack hit the outskirts of Kunduz on November 3 and killed at least 26 people. The U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan released a statement saying: "U.S. forces conducted strikes in Kunduz to defend friendly forces." It added that "All civilian casualty claims will be investigated." (RFE/RL's Afghan Service)
