The Kyrgyz government's official website has been hacked, authorities there say, leaving the site unavailable to would-be browsers.
Authorities said the www.gov.kg site's normal content had vanished and been replaced by Arabic script.
The hackers reportedly identified themselves as "Group Ph-Hack" and left a message saying: Made in KSA. Local reports suggest that "KSA" is an abbreviation for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Kyrgyz National Security Committee and Interior Ministry say they are taking steps to bring the hackers to justice.
The website was temporarily switched off.
