Three guards have been killed during a jailbreak in Kyrgyzstan and four inmates remain on the loose.
Nine prisoners broke out of the prison in northern Kyrgyzstan early on October 12. Five were later captured.
Kyrgyz prison authorities said two of the escapees were serving life sentences on charges of religious extremism and terrorism, while the other two had been charged with the same offenses.
It said three of the four men still at large were members of Jaishul Mahdi (Army of the Righteous Ruler), a group which Kyrgyzstan has accused of carrying out several bomb attacks and plotting a coup.
