Anti-government protesters threw eggs at the office of Macedonia's President Gjorge Ivanov, soon after he pardoned politicians and others implicated in a vast wiretapping operation.
Protesters gathered in the capital, Skopje, in the evening of April 12. They clashed with police and demanded Ivanov's resignation, after he halted investigations into the scandal. (RFE/RL's Balkan Service)
