Macedonian Protesters Call For Resignation Of Prime Minister

At an event in Skopje on December 1, demonstrators beat drums and displayed a banner calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev. Many of the protesters have been angered at what they say is the premier's overly conciliatory approach to neighboring Bulgaria, which recently blocked the start of negotiations for North Macedonia to join the European Union.​
