Yemeni army soldiers scuffle with antigovernment protesters as they disperse them during clashes with supporters of President Ali Abdullah Saleh in Taiz on April 22.

Opponents and supporters of President Ali Abdullah Saleh have rallied in towns and cities across Yemen after Friday prayers.

Since January, Saleh has faced protests calling for his ouster after 32 years in power.

At least 130 people have been killed in clashes with security forces and Saleh's loyalists.

Thousands of Saleh's opponents rallied in Sanaa on April 22.

A few kilometers away, thousands of Saleh supporters demonstrated near the presidential palace in the capital.

Anti-Saleh rallies were also held in the southwestern city of Taiz, the country's third-largest city.
