Aftermath Of Attack On Prosecutor's Office In Northern Afghanistan

Smoke was seen rising from buildings in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e Sharif on April 9 after three gunmen stormed the regional prosecutor's office. Police said the armed men exchanged fire with security forces, killing three police officers and leaving some 27 people wounded. The attackers reportedly took 10 people hostage.
