The Yugoslav war crimes tribunal says the trial of former Bosnian Serb Army chief Ratko Mladic is expected to resume on July 16 after being suspended for two days after Mladic fell ill on July 12.
"As far as the accused is concerned, we do not have any concerns at the moment that his health has taken a turn for the worse," Spokeswoman Nerma Jelacic said.
"The reason why he is in the hospital is not to undergo any treatment whatsoever, he is there purely in order to be examined in order for the doctors to ensure that everything is all right with his situation."
Mladic is on trial for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity for his role in Bosnia's 1992-95 war.
