Former Egyptian ruler Hosni Mubarak is back in court to face charges that he ordered the shooting of protesters during the uprising that ousted him in February. He is also facing accusations of corruption.
Mubarak has denied all the charges.
Field Marshal Mohamad Tantawi, Mubarak's former defense minister who now runs Egypt's ruling military council, has been summoned to testify at the trial.
Also summoned are the military chief of staff and Omar Suleiman, Mubarak's vice-president and intelligence chief.
As in the four previous sessions since the trial began on August 3, Mubarak was flown to the court by helicopter on September 8 and wheeled into the courtroom on a stretcher.
