A Pakistani court has ordered former President Pervez Musharraf to be detained for a further 14 days.
The order on October 11 followed Musharraf's arrest a day earlier in a case related to the 2007 raid on the Red Mosque in Islamabad, which killed Islamist cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi.
Musharraf has been confined to his villa on the edge of the capital since April over a number of cases dating back to his 1999-2008 rule.
On October 9, Pakistan's Supreme Court granted Musharraf bail in the 2006 killing of a separatist ethnic Baloch leader. He had also been granted bail in two other major cases against him, including one relating to the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazi Bhutto.
The 70-year-old former president says the cases against him are politically motivated.
