Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai and Indian child rights campaigner Kailash Satyarthi were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize at a ceremony in Oslo, Norway, on December 10. In her speech, watched by her parents, 17-year-old Malala said the world should not pity children who cannot go to school - but take action. She is the youngest ever winner of the prize. (Reuters)
