Thousands of protesters have blocked a key highway in northern Pakistan over power outages. Residents in the city of Ali Abad in Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region say they've faced outages of up to 20 hours during a harsh winter. The blockade is disrupting bilateral trade with neighboring China and forcing visitors to take longer routes to access the region.
