Pakistan says fresh air strikes in a restive tribal area along the border with Afghanistan have left 35 militants dead.
The military said the attacks were mounted on January 25 in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan district.
It said foreign fighters were among the dead.
The Pakistani army launched an offensive in North Waziristan last June against the Pakistani Taliban and other militant groups, using air strikes, artillery, mortar fire, and ground troops.
More than 1,800 militants were reported killed in the operation, but the numbers cannot be independently verified.
Pakistan has stepped up operations against the Taliban following a December 16 Taliban attack on a military-run school in Peshawar that killed 151 people, mostly schoolchildren.
