Officials: Female Suicide Bomber Took Part In Pakistan Blast

The Pakistani Taliban have taken responsibility for an attack on a police station in the country's northwest by a team of militants, some of them clad in burqas.

The attack on June 25 took the lives of at least 10 police officers who were manning a station in Kolachi, near the town of Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Local officials said at least one of the suicide bombers was a woman.

A Pakistani Taliban spokesperson, Ahsanullah Ahsan, told reporters that the work of a female suicide bomber shows how frustrated Pakistani women are with the country's leadership.
