A meeting in Brussels between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and European Council President Charles Michel, scheduled for the end of the month, has been canceled. Toivo Klaar, the EU special representative for the South Caucasus, said on October 25 that the meeting was put off due to a lack of time. "Our goal is for the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh to return to their homes. Emphasizing the meeting [last month about Karabakh in the Spanish city of] Granada, which Aliyev did not participate in, we are now trying to organize a Pashinian-Aliyev meeting in Brussels," Klaar said, without specifying possible new dates.
