Pompeo Says U.S. Will Look At Stopping Oil Shipments To Belarus

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United States would consider ending oil shipments as part of possible sanctions against Belarus following the bloody crackdown on demonstrators peacefully protesting against alleged election rigging in the former Soviet republic. Speaking to RFE/RL's Ray Furlong in Prague on August 12, he said the key issue would be what measures would deliver good outcomes for the Belarusian people.
