Putin Says Turkey Licking U.S. 'In A Certain Place'

Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested Turkish actions towards Russia were motivated by a desire to ingratiate themselves with the United States. Speaking at his annual news conference, he said someone in the Turkish leadership "decided to lick the Americans in a certain place." Russia and Turkey have been engaged in a diplomatic war of words since Turkey shot down a Russian military jet last month. (AP)
