The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a rebel-held town in Syria’s northwest province of Idlib was hit by a suspected chemical attack. Activists for the Britain-based monitoring group reported air strikes on the town of Khan Sheikhun on April 4 by Syrian government or Russian jets. They said the attack killed several people and caused others to suffer from respiratory problems. Russia said that none of its planes were involved in the attack. The Syrian government has consistently denied the use of chemical weapons. (Reuters/social media)
