Residents Of Breakaway Transdniester Region Vote In Moldova's Elections

A calm atmosphere prevailed at the polling stations opened by the Moldovan government on the right bank of the Dniester for residents of Moldova's pro-Russia separatist region of Transdniester. Moldova voted on October 20 in a presidential election and EU referendum. RFE/RL spoke with voters who came to the Moldovan village of Varina from the Transdniester region.
