The Romanian Orthodox Church has inaugurated a giant new cathedral in Bucharest. The November 25 consecration of the People's Salvation Cathedral also marked the centenary of the modern Romanian state. Crowds of believers gathered outside the cathedral and watched the service on large screens. Scheduled to be completed in 2024, the 120-meter-high construction will be the world's tallest Orthodox church. (RFE/RL's Romanian Service, Trinitas TV)
