Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the importance of ensuring stability and security in the South Caucasus region during a phone call on February 14. Aliyev's press service said the prospects of commercial cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in energy and transport, were discussed. The two leaders also noted the importance of taking consistent measures to ensure stability and security on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border. "In this context, the importance of the unconditional fulfillment of relevant agreements reached between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia at a high level was emphasized," the press service said.
