The Russian parliament's lower chamber, the State Duma, has registered a bill for debate on confiscating the property and assets of individuals convicted of distributing "false" information about Russia's armed forces, calls to violate Russia's territorial integrity, calls for sanctions against Russia and its citizens, collaborating on the implementation of decisions by international organizations Russia does not take part in; rehabilitatng Nazism -- all charges related to laws Russia adopted after it launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said earlier that the bill targets assets which could be used "to finance criminal efforts against Russia's security."
