Kyiv Residents Scramble As Russia Launches Predawn Drone Attack
Ukrainian air defenses fire onto incoming Iranian-made drones during a Russian attack on Kyiv on May 30. Russia launched a fresh wave of drone attacks, killing at least one person and wounding several others, Ukrainian authorities said, adding that most of the drones were shot down by Ukraine's air defenses.
A drone is intercepted during the third Russian aerial attack on the capital in the last 24 hours. The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said on Telegram that fires broke out in several districts of the capital, and falling debris set a high-rise building on fire in Kyiv's Holosiyivskiy district.
