Russian lawyer Vadim Prokhorov, who has defended noted opposition figures such as jailed politicians Vladimir Kara-Murza and Ilya Yashin, as well as the late Boris Nemtsov, has fled Russia fearing for his safety. Prokhorov added that a Russian politician had tipped him off about a probe against him on unspecified charges planned by prosecutors.
