Latest Satellite Photos Show New Russian Military Activity Near Ukraine

This satellite image shows troops departing and the deployment of a battle group in Soloti, Russia, on February 20, 2022, according to Maxar Technologies.

This satellite image taken on February 20 shows a helicopter deployment, a battle group, and troops in Valuyki, Russia, according to Maxar. Some equipment has been deployed in a field approximately 15 kilometers north of the Ukrainian border.

Maxar said that a number of new field deployments were also seen northwest of Belgorod, approximately 30 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, with much of the equipment and troops positioned in or near forested areas. Other company-sized units were deployed within farm and industrial areas.
