Vadim Kobzev, a lawyer for imprisoned opposition leader Aleksei Navalny, will remain in pretrial detention until at least December 13, the Moscow City Court ruled on November 20. Kobzev and two other lawyers for Navalny -- Igor Sergunin and Aleksei Lipster -- were taken into custody last month for allegedly participating in an extremist community because of their association with Navalny and his foundation to root out corruption. Last week, Russia's financial watchdog, Rosfinmonitoring, added the three to its list of extremists and terrorists, meaning that Russian banks must freeze their accounts and stop providing them with services.
