Former Russian Archdeacon Andrei Kurayev, who lost his rank in April over his calls for an end to the invasion of Ukraine, wrote on Telegram on October 16 that he left Russia for the Czech Republic. Kurayev wrote that he will be involved in public activities, including presenting lectures, and expressed hope that he will be able to return to Russia soon.
