Veteran Russian rock musician Boris Grebenshchikov, who currently resides out of Russia, has been charged with discrediting Russian armed forces involved in Moscow’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Moscow’s Tver district court said on May 18 that it will look into the charges. If found guilty, the 69-year-old leader of Russia's legendary Aquarium rock group may face a hefty fine. Grebenshchikov, considered a founding father of Russian rock music, has criticized Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine in interviews and during his concerts, which he currently holds abroad.
