An Uzbek woman who was filmed outside a metro station carrying a child's severed head appeared at a Moscow district court on March 2. The court ruled that Gyulchekhra Bobokulova be held in custody for two months. Speaking to reporters before the hearing, Bobokulova said she accepted guilt for the murder of the four-year-old Russian child she had been hired to babysit, and that "Allah ordered" her to act. (AP)
