If Aleksei Navalny "was a threat to the Russian state," it means that its rulers are weak and insecure, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on February 17, after Navalny's team confirmed his death in jail. Rutte believes that the Russian opposition leader's demise will motivate countries "to do even more with Ukraine."
